Halloween is one holiday that Distribution 2000 takes frightfully serious – we see it as a great opportunity to be silly and have some fun with our #d2krew!
Throughout October, D2000 hosted a Halloween Pumpkin Carving Contest. The #d2krew was asked to carve or paint a pumpkin and submit a photo as an entry in order to win cash prizes and of course, bragging rights! In addition, all participants would be entered into the monthly employee appreciation raffle! BONUS! It is a great way for our employees’ families to get involved as well, and a way to share in the fun of the season with our greater community/family.
We know you’re dying to know who is going to win! Virtual voting will take place later this week on October 29, 2021. Be sure to check our social media channels for the winning pumpkin!

Don’t worry, things will get spookier as the week goes on! Decorations are up around our food-grade warehouse space at 1165 W. Crossroads Parkway. We anticipate that some of the #d2krew will dress up in costume for their shift (safety first, of course) and the leadership team will be bringing in treats on Friday for the entire team.
